Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc is seeking a Quality Inspector I to perform routine mechanical or visual inspections per technical documentation. The role requires teamwork with internal staff and adherence to ISO requirements. High school education and basic MS Word/Excel skills are expected.

The position emphasizes accurate data collection, clear communication, and flexibility to support different shifts or facilities as needed. Training will include blueprint reading and GD&T concepts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Must be able to clearly, concisely, and accurately convey ideas and information to others, both verbally and in written form.

Responsibilities

• Collect inspection data when asked and shown by inspectors or supervision.
• Learn blueprint reading, GD&T, and platework from experienced inspectors and/or supervision and on the job.
• Contribute in some areas of inspection for which training has been provided.
• Communicate effectively to supervision verbally and in written format regarding problems and training needed.
• Participate in and sustain 5S Standards.
• Must follow all required Safety and ISO procedures.
• Regular on-site attendance and punctuality is a necessary function of this position.
• May be required to work in other functional areas and/or facilities depending on business needs.
• May be required to work overtime or alternate shifts based on business needs.
