Job summary

Integra LifeSciences is seeking a skilled inspector for our precision machining operations in the United States. The role focuses on in-process and final inspections of complex parts with very tight tolerances, using micrometers, dial indicators, and other hand gauges.

You will determine inspection methods, coordinate planning, and maintain accurate records in the 1Factory system, while upholding safety rules and contributing to continuous quality improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4 years experience as inspector in a precision machining environment.
• Knowledge and experience of blueprint and spec interpretation.
• Experience using inspection hand gauging including micrometers, thread gauges, dial indicators, vernier calipers, height gauges, internal and external thread gauges, ID/OD mics, bore gauges, etc.
• Computer experience documenting and plotting inspection data.
• Capable of coordinating the inspection planning of a job.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow procedures for in-process and final inspections across varied parts with tight tolerances.
• Determine method of inspection and setup requirements on first article parts.
• Notify management to stop machine operation to prevent defective parts.
• Maintain inspection records using the 1Factory system and prepare appropriate reports.
• Follow safety rules and wear PPE.
