Job summary

Responsibilities

• Machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes, milling and horizontal machines.
• Measure, examine and test completed units with precision instruments to ensure conformance.
• Inspect finished pieces and monitor feed and speed during machining.
• Diagnose machine malfunctions and perform setup adjustments as needed.
• Keep coolant levels; position and fasten work pieces; complete QC paperwork.
• Maintain workspace cleanliness and follow safety rules; wear PPE.
