Job summary

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, performs quality assurance support for the QA team.
• Prepares initial quality assurance documents and procedures, and assists all levels of division or project personnel in quality related matters.
• May perform surveillances and inspections and provide results of assessments to line management.
• May inspect material and equipment for compliance to purchase order specifications and applicable quality requirements.
• Assists in preparation of project audit schedules, discipline activity plans, and audit reports, noting nonconformance and verifying corrective action.
• Assists project management in developing an orientation program to ensure project teams are familiar with the Project Quality Plan requirements.
• Acts as a quality program assessor and follows up on assessment findings and corrective actions.
• Maintains project QA records for all phases of the project.
• Performs duties while safely adhering to approved safety policies, procedures and regulations; actively participates in Safety Work Groups.
