Job summary

MasterBorn is seeking a Junior QA Specialist to improve application quality and automate routine QA tasks. You’ll collaborate with product teams on client projects, including MVPs, with support from senior teammates. Start with small improvements and grow independence while learning project tools.

You’ll gain hands-on experience across testing, documentation, and team processes and contribute to a culture of reliable software delivery in a flexible, fully remote or hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• Around 6-12 months of practical experience in QA, software testing, or related role.
• Basic understanding of test scenarios, expected results, regression and exploratory testing.
• Hands-on with AI assistants for practical tasks and ability to explain approach.
• Experience building or adapting simple automated workflows and reporting.
• Ability to break tasks into clear steps and follow simple automation/workflow.

Responsibilities

• Work with developers, designers, and product owners to understand requirements and key user journeys.
• Turn requirements into test scenarios and use exploratory checks plus automation.
• Build and maintain simple workflows to reduce repetitive QA tasks and reports.
• Use AI to maintain test cases, docs, and knowledge base with validation against product behaviour.
• Create, run, and update end-to-end tests with guidance from experienced teammates.
• Report defects with reproduction steps, expected vs actual results, and evidence; verify fixes.
• Run existing automated checks and align results with CI/CD and release processes.
• Document workflows and raise issues where outputs are uncertain.
