Job summary

American Society for Quality in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Junior QA Engineer to develop and execute manual and automated tests in a hybrid environment. You will validate Salesforce configurations, data migrations, and integrations, and support release validation.

The role requires hands-on testing across Salesforce modules, SQL queries, and API testing with REST/SOAP, using tools like QTest, Jira, and Tosca/Copado.

Qualifications

• Experience in Salesforce functional and end-to-end testing.
• Skilled in SOQL/SQL for data validation and database testing.
• Proficient in API testing with REST and SOAP.
• Experience with Jira for defect tracking and test management.
• Familiar with Tosca or Copado automation tooling.
• Strong Agile/Scrum QA knowledge.
• Healthcare/Child Welfare domain experience.
• Ability to adapt in rapidly changing environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute manual and automated tests using QTest, CRT and Salesforce testing capabilities.
• Test Salesforce standard and custom functionality, including objects, fields, workflows/flows, validation rules, security, reports, dashboards and configurations.
• Validate Salesforce integrations with external applications and systems, including APIs and data exchanges.
• Validate Salesforce data migration, transformation, integrity, relationships, completeness and accuracy.
• Support Salesforce release and deployment validation through pre- and post-deployment testing.

Description (including, but not limited to):

• Develop and execute manual and automated tests using QTest, CRT and applicable Salesforce testing capabilities.
• Test Salesforce standard and custom functionality, including objects, fields, workflows/flows, validation rules, business rules, security, roles, profiles, permission sets, reports, dashboards, and other configurations or customizations.
• Validate Salesforce integrations with external applications and systems, including APIs, web services, inbound/outbound interfaces, data exchanges, and error handling.
• Validate Salesforce data migration, transformation, integrity, relationships, completeness, and accuracy against approved business requirements.
• Support Salesforce release and deployment validation by performing appropriate pre-deployment and post-deployment testing.

Skills:

• Strong experience in Salesforce functional and end-to-end testing.
• Proficient in creating and executing test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
• Experienced in functional, regression, integration, end-to end, system, and user acceptance testing.
• Proficient in SOQL and SQL for data validation and database testing.
• Skilled in API testing using REST and SOAP web services.
• Experienced with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira.
• Experience with test automation tools such as Tricentis TOSCA or CRT (Copado robotic Testing)
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and QA processes.
• Experienced in Salesforce data migration, data validation, and data integrity testing.
• Ability to work in rapidly changing environment
• Healthcare/Child Welfare domain experience.
