Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Junior Software Development Engineer in Test to collaborate with analysts and development teams, automate and execute test cases, and help maintain QA artifacts.

You will gain hands-on experience with Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, and Python within an AI-assisted development environment. You will work across Java and JavaScript architectures, improve testing skills, and contribute to a full software life cycle in a dynamic financial

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related discipline
• Demonstratable proficiency in at least one of Java, JavaScript, Python
• Demonstratable knowledge of independently writing SQL Queries
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous exposure to Quality Assurance or Financial Trading environments is a plus
• Previous exposure with AI tools is a plus

Responsibilities

• Learn and work with industry leading test automation tools: Cypress utilizing JavaScript, Playwright, Selenium utilizing Java and Python, Custom Python Frameworks.
• Test in a multi-tiered based architecture featuring Java and JavaScript architectures (JavaScript architectures tested will include extJS, JQuery, Oracle, and ReactJS).
• Gain experience with iterative and agile software development methodologies.
• Develop the necessary skills to perform troubleshooting of software and hardware configuration problems.
• Develop critical testing skills and work side by side with an experienced QA team.
• Develop a strong background in building automated testing architectures / frameworks.
• Participate in all aspects of a full-life cycle development methodology, and related quality concepts and processes.
