Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (ICE) and its NYSE unit are seeking a Senior QA Engineer in New York for a full-time role on our Technology teams.

You will design and implement automated testing strategies for applications supporting our business, focusing on robust quality and scalable test frameworks. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in quality engineering, strong Java and Python, and hands-on experience with Maven, Jenkins, GitHub and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or equivalent academic discipline.
• 5+ years of Quality Engineering experience involving application development, deployment and testing (Preferably in the financial industry).
• Proven track record of delivering quality work on time.
• Knowledge of software development and quality assurance best practices.
• Experience with Java and Python; experience with Maven, Jenkins, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Artifactory, JUnit, and TestNG; Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Review project business requirements to properly build, enhance and support related testing frameworks.
• Design and develop comprehensive automated test strategies and test cases.
• Automate test cases using exiting frameworks and tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with internal teams to better understand requirements, to provide technical solutions and support user testing.
• Provide support throughout software delivery process, auditing as well as after-hours support, as necessary.
