Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test to join our team in Atlanta.

You will collaborate with System Analysts, Development and QA to define test strategies and automate test execution for financial applications. Responsibilities include building and maintaining automation frameworks using Selenium, ALM, Python, and Java, reviewing requirements, developing test cases, and supporting release readiness.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
3+ years’ experience reviewing requirements, designing test plans, and testing distributed web apps.
3+ years’ Web-based GUI testing for Java/J2EE with data-driven tests.
Experience with ALM or similar test management tools.
2+ years’ experience programming in Python or Java.
Experience with UNIX/Linux and SQL/Oracle.
Experience with test automation tools and maintenance.
Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently under pressure.

Responsibilities

Work with industry leading test automation tools: ALM; Selenium utilizing Java; Custom Python frameworks, SoapUI and other API testing tools
Develop, execute and maintain test cases for new and existing features
Review requirements to produce a test strategy and test cases
Support release readiness and provide status updates
Participate in full life-cycle development and quality processes
