Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking a motivated Junior Python & MATLAB Engineer to join our engineering team. Fresh graduates with a strong academic background are encouraged, with interest in Python, MATLAB/Simulink, data analysis, automation and engineering applications.

You will collaborate with senior engineers to develop scripts, analyze data, support simulations, and contribute to testing and automation projects, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced engineering

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python programming.
Basic knowledge of MATLAB and preferably Simulink.
Understanding of programming fundamentals: variables and data types, loops and conditional statements, functions, arrays/lists, OOP basics.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Python scripts for engineering analysis, automation, data processing, and testing.
Use MATLAB/Simulink for modeling, simulation, data analysis, and engineering calculations.
Analyze test and simulation data and generate reports and visualizations.
Support development of automated test and validation scripts.
Debug Python and MATLAB code and resolve basic technical issues.
Assist senior engineers with simulation, testing, and verification activities.
Work with Excel, CSV, and other engineering datasets for data processing.
Create reusable scripts and tools to improve engineering workflows.
Document code, test results, procedures, and technical findings.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and testing teams.
