Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking a motivated Junior Python & MATLAB Engineer to join our engineering team. Fresh graduates with a strong academic background are encouraged, with interest in Python, MATLAB/Simulink, data analysis, automation and engineering applications.

You will collaborate with senior engineers to develop scripts, analyze data, support simulations, and contribute to testing and automation projects, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python programming.
• Basic knowledge of MATLAB and preferably Simulink.
• Understanding of programming fundamentals: variables and data types, loops and conditional statements, functions, arrays/lists, OOP basics.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python scripts for engineering analysis, automation, data processing, and testing.
• Use MATLAB/Simulink for modeling, simulation, data analysis, and engineering calculations.
• Analyze test and simulation data and generate reports and visualizations.
• Support development of automated test and validation scripts.
• Debug Python and MATLAB code and resolve basic technical issues.
• Assist senior engineers with simulation, testing, and verification activities.
• Work with Excel, CSV, and other engineering datasets for data processing.
• Create reusable scripts and tools to improve engineering workflows.
• Document code, test results, procedures, and technical findings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and testing teams.
