Job summary

Cec Companies is seeking a Junior Project Scheduler II to develop and manage project schedules and templates for field use. You will assist project managers in coordinating tasks, monitoring timelines, and identifying delays, with training for foremen and superintendents on the developed forms and processes.

You will gather data from reporting processes and provide detailed analyses for management review, ensuring alignment with the project execution plan and milestones across multiple teams.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of Primavera P6 scheduling and construction sequencing for large projects.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills are required.
• Proficient with IT tools including Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Supports project team and stakeholders in schedule management for on-time delivery.
• Coordinates with schedulers from general contractors and design-build teams to monitor risk.
• Maintains milestone program; defines and aligns milestones with stakeholders.
• Determines schedule logic and constraints after discussions with task owners.
• Evaluates critical path activities and coordinates review sessions with stakeholders.
• Analyzes schedule reports and ensures delivery per the project execution plan.
• Identifies major milestones, approvals, and long-lead procurement items.
• Assesses progress via site inspections and validates reporting against schedule.
• Identifies schedule changes and risks; works with stakeholders on recovery actions.
• Monitors and reports schedule deliverables; presents status to management.
