Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Junior Project Manager in Charlotte, NC to support Finance, Modeling and Analytics initiatives. You will coordinate activities, assist with plans, dashboards, and documentation while partnering with Finance, Technology, and Data Analytics teams.

The role emphasizes learning Agile delivery, tracking progress, and communicating with stakeholders. Onsite work 2-4 days a week, with potential consideration for Newport Beach, CA in the future.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in project coordination, project management, PMO support, or a related role.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Exposure to financial services, insurance, actuarial, modeling, or analytics environments.
• Understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience creating project documentation, status reports, and meeting notes.
• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, Smartsheet, or MS Project.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day project activities, meetings, and deliverables across multiple workstreams.
• Assist with project plans, status reporting, dashboards, and project documentation.
• Track action items, risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and status meetings.
• Support backlog management and work tracking using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Compile project metrics and provide updates to stakeholders and leadership.
• Partner with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and project leads for delivery planning and prioritization.
• Build strong working relationships across business and technical teams.
• Escalate risks and scheduling concerns as needed.
• Support multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
