Job summary

Flare Construction, LLC, part of Quanta Services, seeks an Assistant Project Manager I to support planning, scheduling, and closeout of high-pressure gas projects across the western U.S. Office-based in Coalville, UT with travel to sites. Path to APM II and Project Manager.

Responsibilities include scheduling, cost tracking, DOT documentation, and field coordination for pipeline construction and regulator stations. Strong communication with PMs and field teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years in construction, utility project support, or related field preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering or related field preferred; comparable field experience accepted.
• OSHA 10-Hour required or completed within 90 days of hire; valid driver’s license required.
• Spanish language proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support project delivery from preconstruction through closeout.
• Attend project meetings, record minutes, and track action items.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
• Coordinate internal communications between estimating, field, and management teams.
• APM II: lead cost forecasting, budget variance analysis, and detailed financial reporting.
