Job summary

Whitetree is seeking a Junior Project Manager to join its Operational Solutions team in the UK. The role focuses on supporting delivery across Defence and other complex sectors, coordinating activities, tracking progress, and maintaining project information to enable successful outcomes.

Ideal candidates will have experience in project support or PMO, strong organization and communication skills, and an interest in project or portfolio management.

Qualifications

• Experience in a project support, PMO, project coordination or similar role.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• A proactive and positive approach to problem solving.
• Confidence using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• An interest in project, programme or portfolio management.
• Experience within Defence, Government or another regulated environment is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Supporting project and programme delivery activities.
• Assisting with planning, scheduling and tracking progress.
• Maintaining risks, issues and action logs.
• Producing project reports, dashboards and presentations.
• Supporting governance meetings and project reviews.
• Coordinating stakeholders and arranging project activities.
• Managing project documentation and administration.
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
