Location:This position is hybrid, with three days onsite in Laurel, MD (20707) and up to 2 days remote work.

Role:

Delmock Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Junior Project Manager to manage a specific project and the work to be performed. Responsible for ensuring work performed is within scope, consistent with requirements, and delivered on time and on budget. Performs day-to-day management of projects. Identifies issues and risks and recommends possible mitigation strategies associated with the project.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops concrete, detailed plans for a project, including the schedule, the budget, and outlining the duties of each team member.

  • Collaborates with various teams and conduct meetings to develop project plans.

  • Responsible for gathering and documenting all project artifacts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or related technical field and one (1) year minimum of relevant experience.

  • At least 1-year experience in a project coordinator role.

  • Basic understanding of project management principles.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • General knowledge of project management software.

  • Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office 365 applications.

  • Experience identifying project goals and setting a timeline for the project.

  • Ability to manage diverse project teams to ensure successful task completion.

  • Comfort speaking to large groups and senior management.

  • Basic project management knowledge, organizational skills, communications skills, time management, team collaboration, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Clearance:

  • The ability to pass a background check is required.
