Job description

The Jr Project Manager at Paramount Printing will assist in managing multiple projects from cradle to grave while assuring all stakeholders are up to date on pertinent project details. This entry-level role provides an opportunity to support project teams, track project progress, and ensure that all tasks are completed on time and within budget.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to multiple Project Managers by tracking and coordinating project tasks, milestones, and timelines.
  • Work with external vendors and internal departments (such as design, production, and logistics) to ensure all project components are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
  • Regularly communicate project status updates to Project Managers, ensuring that any delays, cost overruns, or potential issues are promptly addressed and resolved.
  • Track key project milestones, ensuring that each phase of the project is completed according to schedule.
  • Relay pertinent project information to relevant internal teams, ensuring that everyone is aligned and informed about project status and upcoming deadlines.
  • Ensure that all components and materials for each project are in-house on time, coordinating logistics and addressing any delays that may arise.
  • Keep track of important project milestones and provide timely updates to Project Managers and teams on project progress.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Ability to learn how to effectively use databases systems such as ERP’s.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and with others in a team environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to utilize the tact and diplomacy required to foster a team environment while keeping projects on schedule and budget.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, deadline driven environment, as well as a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Supervision Received:

Works with minimal supervision. Issues and concerns need to be communicated to supervisor.

Physical Requirements:
  • Lifting: Occasionally raises objects from a lower to a higher position or moves objects horizontally from position-to-position. Weight is usually less than 20 lbs.
  • Push/Pull: Occasionally uses upper extremities to exert force in order to draw, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion. Weight is usually less than 20 lbs.
  • Reaching: Extends hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction. Weight is usually less than 20 lbs.
  • Stooping: Bends body downward and forward at the waist. Weight is usually less than 20 lbs.
  • Standing: Standing for moderate levels of time. Infrequently more than 30 minutes at a time.
  • Sitting: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on computer.
  • Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks. In frequently more than 30 minutes at a time.

Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and tolerate exposure to typical noises and smells associated with the plant.
