Job Description

The Development/Construction Junior Project Manager will act as the Owner’s Representative, overseeing construction projects from design to warranty management. Responsibilities include managing design, construction, RFPs, RFQs, contracts, and ensuring compliance with quality standards across all project management areas such as planning, cost, schedule, design, quality, and safety.

This role is primarily based onsite at the Omni Corporate Office in Dallas, TX.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple construction projects from start to finish
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget
• Contract and coordinate with design and construction teams, ensuring design matches scope, budget, and schedule
• Communicate with design teams, contractors, in-house IT, procurement, engineers, interior designers, and hotel operators
• Manage project budgets, expenses, and risks
• Ensure timely completion of project phases
• Report project status to upper management

Qualifications

• Entry-level; experience is a plus
• Basic knowledge of construction processes and terminology
• College degree required; construction-related discipline preferred
• Willingness to travel 1-2 days per week
• Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure
• Understanding of construction documents (Submittals, RFIs, Drawings, Specifications)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Microsoft Project preferred
• Excellent communication, organizational, presentation, and problem-solving skills
