Job summary

ISEC is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Project Manager with administrative tasks, material releases, vendor follow-ups, and submittals, aligning labor and delivery schedules. You will coordinate with owners, general contractors, and subcontractors, manage shop drawings, review costs, release materials, and help prepare monthly billings and reports.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 0–3 years of experience are preferred; strong MS Office skills and clear written/verbal

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development, preparation, and finalization of project schedule.
  • Procure and submit all project submittal information and manage approvals.
  • Assist with administration of subcontract requirements, contract documents, and change orders.
  • Coordinate communications with owners, general contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure quality control procedures are followed per contract documents and ISEC policies.
  • Assist with project closeout and keep the Project Manager informed.
  • Resolve conflicts with clients and customers.
  • Record information in Project Control/Document Control System with target dates.
  • Review job costs with Project Manager.
  • Manage shop drawings through project specs, contractor review, and field installation; track changes.
  • Release material in a timely manner and coordinate deliveries.
  • Visit jobsites and understand progress and environment.
  • Maintain a Shortage and Breakage Log and reorder material as needed.
  • Prepare operation and maintenance manuals and guarantees per specs.
  • Assist PM with monthly billings, cost projections, and weekly logs.
