Job summary

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Construction Management or related degree.
• Some Internship, education or field experience.
• Estimated: Estimating and field experience preferred.
• Scheduling experience.
• Bilingual with ability to communicate in both Spanish and English.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and thorough.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task within time constraints.
• Self-starter and motivated with minimal supervision.
• Strong computer skills, including Excel.
• Good verbal and written communication skills and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist pursuit, preconstruction and business development; support understanding of prospective projects.
• Participate in QA/AC page turn sessions.
• Understand self-performed work, warehouse equipment, rentals, small tools and services.
• Estimating and bidding: perform quantity take-offs; assist in soliciting and reviewing subcontractor bids; assist in trade scope reviews.
• Scheduling: assist CPM scheduling; learn Last Planner; participate in daily/weekly work planning.
• Project documentation: review drawings/specs; manage RFIs; review shop drawings/submittals; BIM coordination meetings.
• Subcontract management: review change requests and invoices.
• Cost control: understand CCDs/PRs/ASIs; track labor costs; assist procurement and cost coding; report cost history.
• Project meetings: attend safety, coordination, start-up, PACE, and post-construction meetings; draft minutes.
• Other responsibilities: contribute to North Dakota Regional Team; support business development; Lean activities.
