Job summary

Performance Contracting is seeking an entry-level Associate Project Engineer for our PCI Dallas 114 operations based in Midlothian, TX. The role provides hands-on experience in project management and estimating, serving as a launchpad for career growth within PCI.

You will participate in safety meetings, support QA/QC, prepare RFIs and submittals, and assist with scheduling, material coordination, and field coordination under supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Construction Science, or comparable work experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to learn new skills through technical job functions
• Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety meetings
• Create and manage punch lists
• Support PCI QA/QC program
• Prepare RFIs and submittals
• Labor control on projects, including setup and maintenance
• Quantitative takeoffs for material ordering
• Support the implementation of the job schedule
• Coordinate warranties and O&M
• Material coordination with purchase orders and invoicing
