Jacobs is seeking a Junior Quantity and Progress Tracking Project Controls Professional for a site-based assignment in Spartanburg, SC or Baton Rouge, LA, with future on-site work across the U.S. The role focuses on tracking progress, quantities, and earned value for large industrial projects.

You will work with a dedicated project controls team, validating progress with field teams and supporting progress payments while advancing reporting tools and dashboards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in project controls, construction progress tracking or related field.
• Experience tracking installed quantities on large industrial projects.
• Understanding of earned value management (EVM) principles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the project quantity database.
• Track quantity growth, scope changes, and trends.
• Define progress quantities and percent-complete criteria for Construction.
• Collect, validate, and track installed quantities for progress reporting.
• Review contractor-progress against field conditions and quantities.
• Conduct field walkdowns to validate progress and installed work.
• Calculate earned quantities and percent complete for reporting.
• Monitor planned vs actual quantities and productivity trends.
• Track completed quantities against contractor invoices and support progress payments.
• Maintain progress reporting tools, databases, and Power BI dashboards.
