Job summary

You will work with Sage Intacct and Procore, handle vendor payments, ensure proper cost coding, and assist with monthly reporting. A bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance is preferred with 0–3 years’ experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
• 0-3 years of Accounting/Finance experience required or preferred.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; strong analytical skills.
• Highly organized with attention to detail; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Learn the fundamentals of construction accounting and project cost management.
• Process vendor invoices with accurate project and cost code allocation for approval.
• Prepare and issue payments to vendors and subcontractors; verify insurance and lien waivers.
• Prepare monthly preconstruction billings and project requisitions.
• Reconcile project costs; investigate variances and discrepancies.
• Generate payroll billings and allocate costs to general conditions.
• Assist in collecting lender/owner documentation for monthly reporting.
