Job summary

Adams Communication & Engineering Technology (ACET), Incorporated seeks a Junior Program / Project / Management Analyst to support the F/A-18 variants program at NAS Norfolk, VA. You will apply structured analytic techniques to evaluate objectives and track deliverables.

You will work with senior analysts to collect data across project schedules, budgets, and technical requirements to ensure timely execution of naval aviation programs.

Qualifications

The Position:

We are seeking a motivated Junior Program / Project / Management Analyst to join our team supporting the F/A-18 variants program at NAS Norfolk,VA. In this foundational role, you will apply structured analytic techniques to evaluate program objectives and track mission-critical deliverables. You will collaborate with senior analysts to gather, organize, and interpret data spanning project schedules, budgets, and technical requirements, helping ensure the seamless execution of naval aviation acquisition and product programs.

Responsibilities:

• Gather, organize, and interpret data relating to aircraft, weapon, project acquisition, and product programs to support baseline reporting.
• Monitor and track daily program status, project milestones, and integrated master schedules to identify potential timeline shifts.
• Assist in analyzing program requirements, status updates, budgets, and schedules to ensure project objectives remain aligned.
• Perform basic management, technical, or business case analyses under the guidance of senior team members to evaluate operational alternatives.
• Help compile analytical findings into standardized spreadsheets, status reports, and presentations for team and stakeholder reviews.

Qualifications:

• Must possess or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Security Clearance to access the airfield and military installation.
• Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited institution.
• 0 to 3 years of experience in program analysis, project tracking, data management, or business operations (prior internships or introductory experience within a defense or corporate setting is a plus).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Excel for data organization).
• Strong analytical reasoning, high attention to detail, excellent written communication, and a proactive willingness to learn DoD acquisition structures.
