Job summary

MiTek is seeking a Production Planning Support professional in the United States (Kentucky) to assist with coordinating customer orders, monitoring progress, and maintaining records in production and inventory systems.

You will update schedules under supervision, monitor ERP-led lead times, and help with inventory tasks, data entry, and basic capacity analysis. This role involves coordination with manufacturing, customer service and logistics teams.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree in a related field preferred.
• 1–2 years in a manufacturing/production control environment.
• Basic understanding of ERP systems; willingness to learn.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with updating and maintaining the production schedule under supervision.
• Monitor sales orders and provide basic lead-time information using ERP.
• Support preparation of production schedules based on orders and priorities.
• Participate in routine inventory tasks such as cycle counts.
• Communicate order status with internal departments.
• Help track inventory levels and incoming materials.
• Enter and review data to ensure order and inventory accuracy.
• Perform basic analysis related to production timing and capacity.
