You will assist with scheduling orders, forecasting material needs, releasing work orders, and coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to achieve on-time delivery and inventory

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Assist Planner 1, II, III or Master Planner to schedule orders to assure customer needs are met.
• Release work orders to production cells or focus factory to meet objectives.
• Forecast raw material and tooling consumption for assigned production cells or focus factory.
• Coordinate supplier's delivery schedules to meet production needs.
• Monitor resource requirements to assure schedule requirements are met.
• Assist in monitoring minimum inventory to support the production schedule.
• Interact with Shipping, Engineering, Quality to resolve problems with timely delivery.
• May assist production to resolve problems relevant to wire receipt, raw material quality, quantity verification and cost allocation.
• Review machine capacity
