Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (OTS) is seeking a Production Planning Partner I to help design and align manufacturing schedules with sales forecasts and customer orders. The role emphasizes on-site collaboration to meet shipping dates and optimize workflows.

You will monitor materials, update ERP/MRP data, and coordinate with vendors and production teams to resolve schedule gaps, ensuring accurate production reports and timely execution.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; 0-3 years' experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Assist with clerical tasks supporting production planning
• Monitor inventory and coordinate ordering, invoicing, and scheduling with vendors
• Track status of customer orders and production schedules to identify issues or delays and coordinate with stakeholders to expedite orders and resolve problems
• Inputs and maintains production data in ERP, MRP, or other databases
