Job summary

CRB Group seeks an Entry-Level Process Engineer in Rockville, MD to assist in designing manufacturing facilities and equipment, supporting infrastructure and critical utility systems. You will perform engineering calculations, balance material and energy, and contribute to process optimization alongside a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical or bioprocess engineering.
• 0 to 3 years of experience in a related manufacturing or design firm.
• Fundamentals of Engineering exam registration or completion preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce engineering deliverables including: Block and Process Flow Diagrams, User Requirements Specifications, Equipment List, Equipment General Arrangements, Equipment Datasheets, Utility Summary, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
• Support the documentation of the process design scope in coordination with other disciplines.
• Work with architects, engineers and designers to ensure a coordinated, constructible and complete design.
• Communicate often with peers and supervisor and manage multiple projects concurrently.
