Job summary

CRB Group seeks an Entry-Level Process Engineer in San Diego to design and engineer manufacturing facilities and equipment, supporting facility infrastructure and critical utility systems. You will perform heat transfer and pressure drop calculations and help document the process design scope in coordination with other disciplines.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical or bioprocess engineering.
• 0 to 3 years of experience in a design firm setting.
• Fundamentals of Engineering exam registration or completion preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports the documentation of the process design scope in coordination with other disciplines.
• Works with architects, engineers and designers to ensure a coordinated, constructible design.
• Self-checks own work and communicates with peers and Supervisor.
• Able to work on multiple projects concurrently and manage time effectively.
• Solves complex problems under the direction of a mentor or supervisor.
• Engineering deliverables include: Block and Process Flow Diagrams, User Requirements Specifications, Equipment List, Equipment General Arrangements, Equipment Datasheets, Utility Summary, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
