Job summary

Hatch Ltd. in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a dynamic Junior Process Engineer to support the Metals group. You will work with offices globally while based in our Pittsburgh office.

You will evaluate process alternatives, analyze data, and coordinate with a cross-discipline team to deliver engineering work. Travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Roles at this level are filled by recent or soon to be graduates with relevant skills.
• Preferred bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemical engineering, materials science engineering, or mechanical engineering.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate Process Alternatives and Equipment/Technology Selection.
• Analyze existing equipment operational data to improve processes (throughput and/or cost).
• Work with a cross-discipline team to plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate engineering work.
• Interface with client’s project team to produce technical and commercial documents/presentations.
• Travel to client sites as needed.

Hatch is seeking a dynamic Junior Process Engineer. Reporting to the Metals group, you will support offices globally working from our Pittsburgh, PA office location.

Qualifications:

• Roles at this level are filled by recent or soon to be university/college graduates with little or no professional experience but possessing relevant skills
• Preferred bachelor’s or master’s degree in cemical engineering, materials science engineering, or mechanical engineering
• Minimum of a cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale

As the successful candidate, you will:

• Evaluate Process Alternatives and Equipment/Technology Selection.
• Analyze existing equipment operational data to improve processes (in terms of throughput and/or cost).
• Work with a cross-discipline team to plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate engineering work.
• Interface withclient’sproject team to produce technical and commercial documents/presentations.
• Travel to client sitesas needed.
