Job summary

Jobtailor in Centennial, CO seeks an entry-level Oil & Gas Process Engineer to perform routine engineering tasks, size equipment, and help develop PFDs and P&IDs for multi-well facilities.

You will collaborate with clients and project teams to ensure safe, compliant design, support process simulations, and contribute to design standards development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering required.
• 0–3 years of experience in Oil & Gas Process Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine tasks applying standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in related engineering tasks.
• Size and specify equipment and instrumentation for existing and proposed oil and gas facilities.
• Assist with layout/design, Design Basis, PFDs, P&IDs, stream summary and line list for multi-well facilities.
• Improve existing design to ensure safety, operability, and environmental compliance.
• Develop block flow diagrams, process flow diagrams, and piping and instrumentation diagrams.
• Develop engineering standards and perform process engineering consulting for upstream, midstream, downstream oil & gas clients.
• Interact with clients, contractors, project managers, and engineering disciplines to ensure effective project execution.
• Assist with process simulation models for existing and proposed facilities.
