Job summary

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) is seeking a Power Systems Engineer to support the Arnold AFB, TN AEDC through the Test Operations and Sustainment contract. The role centers on low voltage distribution (480V and below) across multiple substations to support test facilities and infrastructure.

Responsibilities include electrical system engineering, CMMS preventive maintenance, and coordination with the Air Force to ensure AF-standard maintenance.

Qualifications

• BS degree in electrical engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Must obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret level security clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for employment at AEDC.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical system engineering for assigned power control group.
• Maintain preventive maintenance processes in CMMS and provide field support.
• Interface with the Air Force to ensure assets meet AF standards.
• Develop system requirements, modify designs, and prepare specs/SOWs.
• Prepare or review safety analyses and installation/checkout instructions.
• Generate operations and maintenance instructions and asset management programs.
