Job description

ASSYST is seeking a Jr. Power Platform Developer to support our client in Austin, Texas.

The Jr. Power Platform Developer is responsible for developing and supporting custom business solutions using Microsoft’s Power Platform suite, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with low-code/no-code development, a strong analytical mindset, and a passion for solving real-world business problems through automation and data insights.

Job Type: Contract (Corp to Corp/C2C or 1099)
Job Location: Austin, TX ( Fully Remote )

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop Applications: Build and maintain custom business apps using Power Apps tailored to stakeholder requirements.
• Automate Workflows: Design, implement, and manage process automations using Power Automate to improve efficiency.
• Data Visualization: Create dashboards and reports using Power BI to support data-driven decision-making.
• Integration: Integrate Power Platform tools with Microsoft services (e.g., SharePoint, Teams) and third-party systems.
• Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, refine, and implement technical requirements.
• Support & Training: Provide user support, troubleshoot issues, and deliver end-user training for developed solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Microsoft Power Platform tools: Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, and other Microsoft 365 services.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Experience with basic data modeling, DAX, and Power Query is a plus.
• Ability to document processes, workflows, and technical specifications clearly.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Experience with Azure services, APIs, or custom connectors
• Microsoft Power Platform or related certifications
• Knowledge of agile project methodologies
