Job summary

Socket.dev is hiring a Junior Product Designer in Pico Rivera, CA. You will join the Anirollz & Hakongee Brand Team to develop plush toys and character-based products from concept through production.

Ideal candidates have 2-3 years of graphic/product design experience, a strong portfolio, and proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop. This is an in-office role with opportunities to learn and grow in the toy industry.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of professional experience in Graphic Design, Product Design, Toy Production or related field.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong design skills and design process.
• Bachelor's degree or related field preferred.
• Experience with plush toys, soft goods, or consumer products preferred.
• Proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative concepts for Anirollz & Hakongee plush toys and character products.
• Collaborate with product development and design teams to brainstorm ideas.
• Create concept sketches, artwork, color variations, and production mockups.
• Translate brand direction into product designs and revise designs as needed.
• Create vectorized production artwork and production-ready files for factories.
• Research trends in toys and consumer products and apply brand identity.
• Manage design tasks, meet deadlines, and document assets.
