Job summary

Markade Plumbing in Surprise, AZ is seeking an Estimator to prepare precise plumbing system estimates for construction projects. You will create lead opportunities, perform detailed take-offs, and gather material and labor quantities to support project profitability.

Collaborate with subs and internal teams, review specs, and build estimates in our estimation software. This role emphasizes organization, communication, and proactive problem-solving in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction/business management preferred.
• Entry-level construction experience (plumbing preferred).
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Experience with project management software is a plus.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating estimates for plumbing systems.
• Create lead opportunities and folders in estimation software.
• Perform detailed take-offs and gather material and labor quantities.
• Gather quotes from subs IE; plumbing wholesalers, insulation contractors, excavation, and concrete cutting/coring contractors.
• Review specification books to capture piping materials and fixtures.
• Download bid docs and store in hosting platform.
• Prepare and send RFIs to general contractor.
• Build an estimate in estimation software.
• Review forecasted project schedules against manpower availability.
• Prepare a scope and exclusions for the bid.
• Review contract documents to verify scope and pricing.
• Log bid credentials into take-off software.
