Responsibilities

  • Processes land use petitions and site development plans and distributes to appropriate divisions for review.
  • Reviews permit applications for building, construction, and development permits.
  • Provides customer service and administrative support to issue varied building and development permits.
  • Issues permits upon receipt of documentation and approvals; calculates and collects fees.
  • Cancels permits or applies permit holds when necessary.
  • Provides information regarding permit process, codes, statutes and standards.
  • Assists Code Enforcement with code violations related to permits.
  • Reviews reports for accuracy and notifies relevant parties of discrepancies.
