Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• One year of related experience preferred.
• Fingerprinting required.
• Candidates without a degree should possess four years of related experience, including planning and permitting.

Responsibilities

• Review site development plans for LDC compliance and prepare executive summaries, zoning certificates, and permits.
• Present petitions before the Collier County Planning Commission.
• Provide research and advisory support to county staff; conduct planning research using various sources.
• Assist the public at the front counter on zoning and development regulations.
• Conduct site visits for petition submittals and zoning certificates; participate in pre-application meetings.
• Prepare memos, letters, and data reports on planning issues.
