Latitude’s client, a plaintiffs’ personal injury law firm in Arizona, seeks a junior associate attorney with at least one year of experience handling plaintiffs’ personal injury matters. The position is on-site at the firm’s Phoenix or Tucson office and is a full-time direct-hire role.

You must be licensed to practice law in Arizona and possess strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills, with excellent academic credentials from a U.S. accredited law school.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience practicing plaintiffs’ personal injury in Arizona
• Licensed to practice law and in good standing with the State Bar of Arizona
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Excellent academic credentials from a U.S. accredited law school

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation documents
• Conduct legal research and case investigation to support case strategy
• Prepare for and take or defend depositions
• Communicate regularly with clients regarding case status and strategy
• Support settlement negotiations and case resolution efforts
• Appear in Arizona state court as needed
