Job summary

ProSync Technology Group, LLC (ProSync) seeks a Junior-Level Physical Security Specialist to support DoD/Intelligence Community environments, focusing on protecting personnel, facilities, and sensitive information. The role emphasizes access control, facility protection, and compliance with government security requirements.

Ideal candidates have up to three years in physical security or related fields, with strong organizational skills and the ability to work with government stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; or Associate’s degree plus 4 years relevant work experience. In lieu of a degree, 6 years of additional relevant work experience may be substituted.
• Top Secret/SCI clearance with SAP/SAR eligibility is required to be considered for this position.
• Active IAT/IAM Level II certification (e.g. Security+, CySA+, SSCP, etc.) is required.

Responsibilities

• Support physical security programs to protect facilities, personnel, and classified information.
• Assist with access control operations and visitor management procedures.
• Support physical security inspections, vulnerability assessments, and compliance reviews.
• Maintain security records, facility documentation, and access control databases.
• Assist with monitoring security incidents, violations, and compliance concerns.
• Coordinate with security personnel, facility managers, and government stakeholders.
• Assist with protective measures involving classified workspaces and secure facilities.
• Prepare reports and documentation supporting physical security operations.
• Identify vulnerabilities during walk-throughs and recommend improvements.
• Support security awareness and facility protection initiatives.
