Job summary

Canfield Imaging Systems in Parsippany, NJ is seeking a PHP Web Developer, Level I to translate requirements into functional software, maintain codebases, and provide timely technical support.

The role requires REST/SOAP experience, relational databases (SQL Server and MySQL) and strong Web design skills, with an expected salary range of $80,000–$100,000 per year. This is a full-time, on-site position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent education and/or experience.
• Experience with Web Services such as REST, SOAP, etc.
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server and MySQL).
• Web design and layout experience.

Responsibilities

• Translate software requirements, wireframes and designs into fully functional software.
• Maintain existing codebases; integrate new content and pages into the existing infrastructure.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for escalated customer issues.
• Communicate status, issues, barriers, metrics, reports to the Team Lead and project management in a timely manner.
• Work effectively in a changing, high-impact, fast paced environment with challenging deadlines and resource constraints.
