Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. is hiring a Junior Pet Stylist in Grooming. This role begins with a ten-week training period to learn bathing, drying, nails, and more, with hands-on guidance from experienced groomers.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year of animal experience (shelter, pet sitting) preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Genuine passion for animals and grooming.
• Basic understanding of dog breeds and grooming practices.
• Able to handle pets of all sizes with empathy.
• Weekend/evening/holiday availability.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, perform limited bathing, drying, nail trimming, brushing, ear and gland cleaning.
• Ensure safety and wellbeing of every animal in the salon.
• Interact professionally with pet parents and provide customer service.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized grooming area and tools.
• Schedule grooming appointments and maintain records.
• Learn and follow Petco grooming policies and standards.
