Job summary

Petco is seeking a Junior Pet Stylist for our Grooming team. You will start with a ten-week training program covering bathing, drying, nail trimming, and brushing under seasoned groomers.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year of animal-related experience is preferred
• Genuine passion for animals and grooming basics
• Effective verbal and written communication with pet parents and team members

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, perform bathing, drying, nail trimming, brushing, ear cleaning, and gland cleaning per pet parent’s instructions
• Ensure safety and well-being of every animal in the salon
• Interact professionally with pet parents and provide excellent customer service
• Maintain a clean, safe grooming area and sanitize tools and equipment
• Schedule appointments and maintain grooming records
• Learn and adhere to Petco grooming policies and standards
