Qualifications

• 0-1 year of animal related experience or related volunteering preferred.
• Genuine passion for animals and desire to pursue a career in pet grooming.
• Effective verbal and written communication with pet parents and grooming team.

Responsibilities

• Perform limited grooming services under supervision: bathing, drying, nail trimming, brushing, ear cleaning, gland cleaning.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of every animal in the salon.
• Provide optimal customer service and respond to grooming-related inquiries.
• Maintain a clean and safe grooming area and sanitize tools and equipment.
• Schedule grooming appointments and maintain records.
• Learn and follow Petco grooming policies and standards.
