Qualifications

• 0-1 year of animal-related experience or shelter volunteering.

• Ability to handle dogs of all sizes with care and empathy.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, perform limited grooming services: bathing, drying, nail trimming, brushing, ear cleaning, and gland cleaning according to owner instructions and in adherence to policies.
• Ensure the well-being and safety of every animal in the salon.
• Interact professionally with pet parents; provide top customer service.
• Maintain a clean and safe grooming area and tools; sanitize equipment.
• Schedule grooming appointments and maintain records.
• Learn and follow Petco grooming policies and standards.
