Job summary

Petco is seeking a Junior Pet Stylist in Grooming to begin a rewarding grooming career. You will learn fundamental grooming tasks such as bathing, drying, nail trimming, brushing, ear cleaning, and gland cleaning under experienced groomers.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year of animal related experience preferred (shelter volunteering or pet sitting).
• Genuine passion for animals and a desire to pursue grooming as a career.
• Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision perform limited grooming tasks: bathing, drying, nail trimming, brushing, ear cleaning, gland cleaning.
• Maintain a clean, safe grooming area and wear hygiene practices.
• Schedule appointments, manage paperwork, and keep grooming records.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure pet safety and comfort.
