Job summary

Antech Diagnostics is seeking a Parasitology Laboratory Technician I to perform laboratory analyses, prepare samples, set up instruments, run tests, read and release results. The role supports quality control and follows SOPs with a focus on accuracy and safety.

Education requires a high school diploma; science degree or vet technician experience is preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team are essential in a fast-paced veterinary laboratory

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Science degree or veterinary technician experience preferred.
• Laboratory skills with setting up, running, and reading tests.
• Familiarity with microscopy and lab terminology.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, runs, reads, and releases lab tests.
• Exercises judgment in evaluating and reporting results.
• Performs equipment maintenance and quality control checks.
• Assists lead or supervisor with rechecks as directed.
• Follows SOPs including safety procedures.
