Job summary

VIATEQ Corporation is seeking a Junior Palo Alto Integration Technician to support a federal government client. Primary work will be onsite at the client site with approved remote options, focusing on administration, monitoring, and operational support of Palo Alto Networks security platforms across hybrid environments.

Qualifications

Foundational knowledge of Palo Alto Networks technologies.
Basic enterprise networking concepts, TCP/IP, VPNs.
Ability to obtain government background investigation and credentials.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

Monitor platform dashboards for NGFW, Panorama, Prisma Access, and Cortex XDR.
Assist with routine admin tasks, backups, exports, and account management.
Support change management documentation and policy updates.
Analyze logs and security events under senior engineer guidance.
Prepare health reports and escalation when issues arise.
