Job summary

COLSA Corporation is seeking a Junior System Administrator to support the Marine Corps Information Operations Center (MCIOC) in Quantico, VA. You will assist with installation, testing, sustainment of MCEN, JWICS, and related networks, and help maintain equipment and configurations.

The role requires an Associate degree or equivalent, at least three years of relevant experience, DoD TS/SCI clearance or eligibility, and US citizenship.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three years' work-related experience.
• CompTIA Security+CE certification.
• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance or eligibility granted within past 2 years.
• US Citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, testing and sustainment of MCEN‑N, MCEN‑S, JWICS and other networks.
• Identify system problems and notify Network Owner for resolution.
• Sustain engineering support of network systems.
• Assist Government personnel with installation design, new cabling, equipment and software.
• Establish new user accounts and configure laptops and remote email services.
• Coordinate with hardware maintenance for repair of IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot and assist with software and hardware problems for Domain Users.
• Maintain Configuration Baseline for Laptops and Workstations.
• Maintain inventory of VoIP Phones, STE Phones, VTCs, Printers and AV equipment.
• Test and document components for communications architectures.
• Assist in administration of network storage arrays and Email Archiving System.
• Support SUS and SMS systems.
• Assist in RMF processes for ATO development and security requirements.
