Job summary

StratasCorp in Washington, DC seeks an IT Specialist I to provide technical support for installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of IT systems supporting mission-critical operations within the Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN) environment.

The role covers system installation, network support, security, and DoD compliance. Candidates should have a high school diploma, at least two years in IT, CompTIA Security+ and an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years of experience in IT, network operations, help desk, systems administration, or related technical environments.
• Required: CompTIA Security+ Certification
• Candidates must possess at least one of: CompTIA A+/Network+, CCNA, MTA, MCSA.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and repair IT systems in stand-alone and client-server environments.
• Support Microsoft server environments, DMS, and other authorized information systems.
• Assist with network administration, hardware and software deployment, and system upgrades.
• Diagnose and resolve customer information system and network issues.
• Document troubleshooting efforts and resolutions.
• Maintain secure and reliable network communications.
