Construction Partners, Inc. is seeking an entry‑level network professional dedicated to security‑first thinking and reliable, safe operations across multiple sites. You will collaborate with senior engineers, learn rapidly, and handle day‑to‑day networking tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates are eager to grow, ask questions, and escalate when necessary. The role may involve travel to branch and acquisition sites across several states as part of ongoing network improvements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years IT or networking experience
• Fundamental understanding of VLANs, trunking, and STP
• Experience with enterprise firewall platforms (Palo Alto preferred)
• Experience with enterprise‑grade switches (Ubiquiti, Cisco, Dell)
• Familiarity with DHCP, DNS, and basic network troubleshooting
• Understanding of network segmentation and zone‑based security
• Strong documentation and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently in remote sites

Responsibilities

• Perform day‑to‑day network operations, monitoring, troubleshooting, and basic configuration of switches, access points, and routers.
• Assist with firewall administration tasks under senior engineers.
• Enforce security‑first thinking and least‑privilege access.
• Configure and maintain VLAN segmentation and network zoning.
• Install and terminate cabling and assist with circuit turn‑ups.
• Provide LAN/WAN/SSL VPN support across locations.
• Maintain network documentation in Netbox and asset records.
• Escalate complex firewall changes and routing issues as needed.
• Travel to branch and acquisition sites across multiple states when required.
